What you missed on Sept 14th
Our second event was held on September 14th, 2017 at Flight Beer Garden uptown. Our popular panelists talked at length about the grit it takes to be an entrepreneur in the cutthroat beverage industry. We heard about their backgrounds (graphic design, corporate finance, physiology, and organic farming), and the lessons they've learned through failure and sacrifice. Red Ventures generously sponsored this event with financial support.
What you missed on June 8th
Our inaugural event was held on June 8th, 2107. With an ambitious goal of selling 75 tickets, we smashed our own ceiling with over 107 tickets purchased in advance and more than 20 bought at the door. The focus? Charlotte's changing food scene. Our talented panel discussed their perspectives on the Queen City's culinary evolution - and the breaking points in their lives that pushed them out of their comfort zones. Many thanks to 7th Street Public Market for their hospitality, and to Tom Hanchett for the fantastic moderating. The recommended reading from that evening's event can be found here.
